The standard
Sourced or silent. Every claim published here points at something a reader can go and check, and where the record is thin, it says so rather than filling the gap with atmosphere.
Belief is not the product. The aim is a record clear enough that someone who disagrees with the premise still finds it useful.
What gets published
Primary documents and the context needed to read them. Histories of how particular cases were handled, and by whom. Analysis of the machinery of acceptance: the committees, the wording, the incentives that decide which questions stay open.
What does not
Unverifiable testimony presented as fact, reconstructed quotes, and images whose origin cannot be established. Corrections are published in place, with the original error visible.
