Where We Are From Earth looks outward to understand what we have, Protect Earth comes back down to a specific piece of it: soil, canopy, people, maps, boundaries and work.
The two run as one loop. A story about a threatened forest can lead directly to a project protecting that forest. The results of that project become a new story.

Kept honest
Editorial money and project money stay visibly distinct. Anyone supporting either should be able to tell whether their contribution funds journalism through We Are From Earth or a conservation intervention through Protect Earth.
No impact will be claimed before it exists. Projects, methodology and outcomes will be published as they become real.
Status
Protect Earth is in development. The first pilot is being scoped so the pathway from story to action can be demonstrated honestly rather than described.
